Hey, It’s Sherri

Hi there! I’m Sherri Barker, the author of Won’t He Do It, and I’m so excited to share a piece of my heart with you. I’m a Richmond, Virginia girl who packed her bags for Rome, Italy, in the ‘90s and ended up living a life full of faith, family, and adventure. Along the way, I met my Australian soulmate, Paul, and together we built a life rooted in God’s love and purpose. I’m a mom to two amazing kids, Josh and Ariel, and co-founder of Living Words, a Bible-based curriculum born out of a prophetic dream. When I’m not writing or serving at church, you’ll probably find me outdoors—snow skiing, horseback riding, or jet skiing—or reminiscing about travels that took me from the ancient streets of Rome to the bustling cities of Malaysia and beyond. Life’s been quite the journey, and I can’t wait to take you along for the ride!

Why did you write Won’t He Do It?

I wrote Won’t He Do It out of my personal journey of faith and the miracles I’ve experienced along the way. I felt called to share how God’s transformative power can work in ordinary lives, especially during times of hardship. My hope is to encourage others to trust in His love and His plans, no matter what challenges they face.

This book is not just my story; it’s a reminder that God is always at work, even when we don’t see it. Through my experiences, I want readers to understand that His timing is perfect, and His promises are true. I believe that by sharing these moments of faith, others will be inspired to embrace God’s love and trust in His plan for their lives.

I didn’t set out to simply tell my story.

I wrote these pages to show how God’s hand can transform lives, to give Him the glory He deserves, and to encourage you to believe in His power to do the same for you.

My heartfelt prayer is that the phrase “Won’t He Do It” becomes far more than just words on a page for you. I hope it stirs something profound within your spirit, awakening a fire that compels you to believe in the impossible. May it spark within you a journey of faith so bold, a hope so unshakable, that it leads you to experience the miraculous power of God’s hand in your life.
